Anyone has this strange hair loss where there is no minutiarization but density keeps decreasing?

I have tried T3, T3+T4, NDT--but I dosed them all conservatively. What do you use? what is your dose? and do you use temps/pulse to determine dose? I have tried cyproheptadine. My first trial with it I felt and noticed absolutely nothing. My second trial with it made me feel like an anxious...

Anyone has this strange hair loss where there is no minutiarization but density keeps decreasing?

I've been noticing "too much hair at the shower drain" for years, on and off. I'm 29. I have enough hair left still that I can hide my losses; just this past summer girls were complimenting me on my nice full head of hair. I told them "not really, it's actually been thinning for awhile," but...

Anyone has this strange hair loss where there is no minutiarization but density keeps decreasing?

How can you say diffuse hair loss is easily fixable? I have diffuse hair loss; my hairline is pretty solid. My TSH was 1.25 this summer. What is the Easy Protocol for fixing my diffuse hair loss?

    Copper 1 (copper niacin)

Bump. Anyone tried this product? Is it worth it?

    Seborrheic Dermatitis

That is interesting. Thanks. No I haven't tested prolactin recently. I think my flare up was caused by facial vitamin k application, which caused a vitamin E deficiency. Vit E/D applied to the problem area has controlled the flare up, thank God.

    Seborrheic Dermatitis

Has our lord and savior gbold ever spoken about seborrheic dermatitis? Topical vitamin D is the only thing that controls it for me, but I'm currently experiencing a massive flare up. I've exhausted the Ray Peat approach of B vitamins and vitamin A. There must be a mineral based solution. I...

    Sources of manganese

I've started taking the Nutrabio manganese that you suggested TubZy. Is anyone worried about manganese toxicity from supplementation? 10-20mg per day is safe?

    Experimental Hair Loss Options

Nevermind, I just read some of gbold's rationale and I'm too dumb to understand it. I will probably stop spraying aspirin on my scalp though. Thanks.

    Experimental Hair Loss Options

I think that aspirin is too helpful for the skin quality of my face for me to give it up. I can stop spraying it on my scalp though. Can you give quick notes on why caffeine/aspirin are bad for hair?

    Experimental Hair Loss Options

My current topical solution that I spray directly onto the scalp includes taurine, aspirin, sodium bicarbonate, caffeine, and niacinamide. Do any of the independent thinkers here believe that any of those ingredients could contribute to hairloss or inhibit growth in any context?

    Sources of manganese

Re: Manganese <t>Well then maybe Ray Peat is right and oysters don't need to be taken more than once a month. I ate oysters today for lunch and then my libido tanked into the evening. Contrary to popular wisdom, oysters don't do much to increase my libido.<br/> <br/> If anyone does have a...

    Hormonal Charts & Pathways

Good idea. A mineral chart would be very interesting to look at.

    Sources of manganese

Manganese <r>There's been lots of talk about zinc + manganese lately. Zinc is easily obtained via oysters. However, oysters are also very high in copper and only moderately high in manganese. How should we get more manganese in the diet without relying on trashy supplements? I tried...
