Finasteride 'crash' while still on the drug?

I crashed immediately on the first Propecia pill after being off of the drug for a few months. Actually, it was a generic version of Propecia. Took it at night and awoke the next morning in full crash mode. Awful. Life has been garbage ever since.

Similar crash story One pill lead to immediate week long minor crash. Got better after the crashed week , felt pre-crash or even better for 2 months , except for odd sharp pains in head on/off. Then one night in middle of sleep woke up in the most devastating crashed state

You crashed on one pill of fin?

If this is true , and you crashed on one pill.
this says that your NADPH system was already done. You were g6pd deficient buddy. this is why people with g6pd deficiency, crash on beans even, they eat beans, and boom DONE. same as PFS crash. this crash is called hemolytic anemia.

Exactly as I wrote , one pill = feel shitty for a week (insomnia) = then normal or better then normal for 2 months = then middle of the night woke up like lightning struck my brain , in severe crashed state

I doubt it’s just hemolytic anemia ...”When symptoms are triggered, they include fever, dark urine, abdominal and back pain, fatigue, and pale skin.”

If those had been my symptoms omg that would be amazing

I had immediately destroyed gaba, zero muscle tone, skin numbness, debilitating insomnia like a change to my reticular activating system, my sense of wakefulness changed , there was no sleepy feeling ever , different/ worse than insomnia

Something happened in my brain to change how I experience all of life = hunger, sleep, exercise, etc, settings got scrambled

@Aflac94 I looked again at your hairtest, you are copper toxic, . NOTHING WILL HELP you short term, NO PROTOCOL< no hormone. NOTHING. Unless you take DHT.

Stop wasting your time with those. there is no receptors to reset in your case. Your copper will be constantly retaining calcium and also will be killing histamine in your brain. PAM enzyme which increases prolactin is COPPER ENZYME, when copper accumulates in the brain, it constantly secretes this PAM peptide which tells your body to retain calcium.

And since copper kills histamine, your stomach acid goes down, and you can't retain iron.

thus low iron, and low 5AR, which is an IRON enzyme and this keeps DHT low

I had people crash with hemolytic anemia taking testosterone. Since testosterone requires NADPH, and progesterone, since progesterone requires NADPH.

In your situation anything that requires NADPH will cause a crash.

Interesting, Like I wrote before I took progesterone a few weeks ago and it crashed me similar to finasteride

So cortisol would crash me too, since it requires NADPH for 5-alpha metabolites

So I can only do copper chelation or TEI?

Those are only two options for me to get better?

Does this go for hidden copper toxic, or does it have to be showing up high on the hair test?

that is a good question, which I am thinking about.

I have 2 tests, from some folks like Aflac with high copper on the hairtest.

and from someone who is also a slow oxidizer but with low copper on the hairtest.

What I found is that usually folks with high copper have low histidine in blood, means their body is trying to make histamine, but copper breaks it down too fast.

And second people with low copper on hairtest, have very high histidine. I assume those have problems, with cysteine. and b6. most likely gaba overexpression. causing prolactin release .

this is why TEI actually gives some slow oxidizers copper. May be they know this

Why do you say unless you take DHT ? What’s the connection there...because it’s after the NADPH step????

What specifically chelates copper without ripping out other important minerals? Im supposedly copper toxic as well.. but mine is hidden so I don't know how to verify,

Was my NADPH low because of the high copper , and fin pushed me over edge?

Or is copper not connected to NADPH

So no RU for my case I guess ? Till I get copper down

Was thinking of that with @jinstewart story unfolding and his success in the sleep department

WOW , thank you man I can understand stuff but I need the dots connected for me like this , wow

Just imagine, you were copper toxic, already, before fin, so NADPH runs low. you take fin. boom, crash. glutathione zero, hemolytic anemia. folic acid, zero, b12 gets oxidized

boom crash. insomnia, and the whole nine yards.

I had hemolytic anemia from lead, when I chelated lead. I was exactly in PFS state. Nothing worked, total insomnia, anxiety, total crash.

Had to feed folic acid constantly.

I used EDTA the first time, and lead started to pour into my blood. And boom crash same as PFS.

same crashes people get on copper chelation, mercury chelations, it is hemolytic anemia.

My skin even gets yellow, from break down of hemoglobin.

This is really cool as an explanation of what happened.

So obviously I will focus on chelation copper with TEI + resvertrol or other copper chelators.

But sounds like it is gonna be hell , so it seems you are recommending I take a lot of extra folic acid during this chelation
