I have to up my K too!
I have received my bulk KCl

Intresting as I use curcumin quite a lot…. hoping to help liver… and this is a very good anti-flies to eat outside!

I have no precise scale, how much K to start with? Can I put it in my drinking water? Is it better to take at precise moments of the day?

Let me tell you this, i take the potassiumchloride in lemon water and its awful. Tastes really bad aha i just down it as fast as i can. I take 3x500mg daily, depending on my food that day

I can have some explanation for the premature ejaculation… I agree that we have the same patterns in men and woman in a way….
I also have low libido, but react absolutely normally when having sex.
Low libido means not having a very good balance between sym and parasym.
Premature ejaculation at the level of the nervous system matches having a low tolerance to stress! Yes even to good activation... It means having a low tolerance to pleasure and to any intensity.
Actually, any work on the NS Will help stand more pleasure, more intensity in everything. Ejaculation is no more htan the moment we cannot stand intensity anymore. So, this level can always increase! It is perfectly possible to have more pleasure and longer before coming. It has do do with the synchronicity of the sym and para sym branches, and taking into account the power of the ventral Branch of the vagus nerve, the one said to be about social engagement / connection. It is the part that sustains to have both para sym and sym working together, same as in play, dance, music together…

Sorry Nina, my packet from purebulk is K BICARBONATE!
So no Cl...
I think I wanted to have the interesting effect of bicarbonate without using socium bicarb, which is super bad for my stomach acid.

As I use salt and betain HCl, I think I did not want to up my intake of Cl more too!

Any experience out there with potassium bicarbonate?

Just be super careful with it as it can really burn your stomach lining and or esophagus.. potassium supplements can be harsh. I find it much easier to just use coconut water in place of regular water throughout the day. Provides plenty of potassium along with some magnesium

This seems accurate yeah. I don’t ‘feel’ libido but i get aroused extremely quickly like, in a matter of seconds and achieve orgasm easily and way too quick.

Weekday sleepoveer :p

More on the Pyroluria topic below:

"lifelong issues with severe inner tension, ongoing anxiety, poor stress tolerance (with added stress of any kind making the symptoms worse), digestive issues and difficulty digesting protein, frequent colds and infections, joint pain or stiffness, acne, eczema or psoriasis, mood swings and reactivity, poor short term memory, and a tendency in many to lean towards being a loner…among many other potential symptoms."

"
If you answer “yes” to 15 or more of these then further testing may be worthwhile:

PYROLURIA QUESTIONNAIRE

1. Little or no dream recall

5. Pale skin +/- poor tanning +/- burn easy in sun
6. Sensitivity to bright light
7. Hypersensitive to loud noises
8. Reading difficulties (e.g. dyslexia)
9. Poor ability to cope with stress
10. Mood swings or temper outbursts
11. Histrionic (dramatic) tendency

22. Tendency toward being a loner and/or avoiding larger groups of people
23. Stretch marks on skin
24. Poor sense of smell or taste
25. Feel very uncomfortable with strangers
26. Frequently experience fatigue
27. A tendency to overreact to tranquilizers, barbiturates, alcohol or other drugs (in other words, a little produces a powerful response)
28. A tendency toward anemia
29. History of mental illness or alcoholism in family
30. Easily upset by criticism
31. Sweet smell (fruity odor) to breath or sweat when ill or stressed

@Helen i know you talked about pyroluria before but is it a real condition?

It matches my symptoms and i also recognize a lot of it in my family members.

BTW, manganese also increased my libido in the past. Gave me oily skin too.

Problem with things like this in general, whatever fits in my case i dont like it, its scary till a solution could be found, not only a treatment but solving the actual issue if possible.

This is from low histamine. I am sure. Helen talked about it and it matches my experience.
The less histamine you make the more your receptors become sensitive to it so during sexual stimulation it makes you come crazy fast.

Either copper is breaking it down too much or synthesis is low (b2/b6 are not kept active? histidine is missing?)
I think estrogen keeps histamine up by decreasing its breakdown (DAO enzyme) probably by keeping copper bound.
If you manage to bring up your estrogen I think you're going to last longer ;)

No idea why it's low in your case though. Maybe low NAPDH.
Is it really hypoventilation or G6PD is maybe bottlenecked?

@Helen i read niacin completely cured your PFS in the past when you took it bc it makes serotonin and histamine available. I had a good reaction to niacin aswell. It calms my mind completely and i feel no anxiety when im on it. Also energy increases and feel more social/connect with people easily.

Interesting, i tried both vitamin b2 and b6 in the past but didn’t do good on either of them. Especially b2 made me crash pretty hard with anxiety and depression, it inhibits NADPH im pretty sure. B6 didn’t notice as much but i think it raises my progesterone levels as i got mood swings and bloating from it. Also swollen legs/feet, kind of the same symptoms i get before my period starts which is when prog levels are highest during female cycle.

This is a lymphatic system issue. So is PMS and even breast tenderness, as they are part of the lymphatic system.

So about K.... I just noticed I thought they told me to take K but no! They told me to take copper, and manganese but not potassium!

I still have to up K levels more, they already have, this last year, but not enough.
So I am going to keep my carnivore diet, it looks ok for a slow oxi, as my numbers are a bit better. I prefer this than big changes followed by a crash!

Even my calcium is a bit higher, though I almost stopped dairies. I used to eat a kilo of goat cheese a week in my Peat days. BTW my BF is an obvious fast oxi and he mainly eats fruits and dairies, which made it more difficult for me to stick out of fruits! Grrrr!

I am dropping the potassium supplements, i just had a panic attack after taking it. Body feels very weird right now. Restless. I think i might have high potassium already and high co2 thus panic attack

I think it modifies heart beats no?
Keep it lower and with food if you need to get more. Do you want to lift its levels from hair test results? Or was it a guess?

It took me few months on NaCl+KCl relatively small dose to notice heart palpitations and heart beat out of range, so it was a sign to discontinue. Taking just one of the main elements and in higher dose could cause even more rapid response from the body. If i would take it will be very gradually and increasing the dose too slow to make troubles. But i guess even then body reaches certain point where it will ask for the rest of the puzzle to keep balance.

I could be wrong here but it sounds to me like you have a vitamin K deficiency.
You say you get bruises easily and you have a narrow lower jaw which are pretty obvious symptoms.

What vitamin K does in the body is carboxylation.
This is the process of integrating CO2 into proteins in order to build bones and coagulate blood.
One of the proteins made by vitamin K is osteocalcin. It needs ionized calcium also.
Ionized calcium you get when you have high CO2.
Osteocalcin not only builds bone but also triggers insulin release from the pancreas.

So your case might look like this:
Vitamin K deficiency -> low insulin -> low G6PD -> low NADPH -> low cortisol and estrogen -> high adrenaline sensitivity.

Or maybe I am wrong and this is not your case at all.
You need to know for sure if you have high CO2 or low.
