Any PAS (post accutane) sufferers with sexual side effects tried RU486 or ELLA?

@Flynn and others, how did you decide to take RU and / or ella. What blood levels did you see to determine that RU will work for you? I see people taking progesterone, RU, ella , Randro ? How to decide which one to take and which one to not.

I am asking in the sense of what to take when progesterone is low for example, and what not to take? Or are we determining based on cortisol or serotonin levels. There is a lot of information on this thread, but it is all spread out in different threads and posted at different times which may result in it being outdated. Can somebody assist me in this or if someone already has informative links saved can provide them.

I am trying to do a 101 of sorts with information on the mechanisms of fin, iso and mechanisms of the treatments. But there are so many different things which these chemicals have altered. Many discussions focus on receptors of hormones like progesterone, testosterone. Many focus on dopamine, serotonin and cortisol levels. They are obviously related but we don't know how. And also the studies which shed light on these topics are themselves in the prototypical state, so it is difficult to determine the veracity of these pieces of info also.

Again, if someone can provide any primer or similar links and / or tell which information about these diseases is definitely true, many including me be very thankful to you.

I decided to take it after gbold made a brief mention of the drug as I had no idea an antiprogesterone drug existed.

Only a month before hearing about it I had bloods done showing high progesterone which my endocrinologist didn't even bat an eye towards. Nothing else really stood out and once again I didn't know what to try as a next step.

Once hearing about this drug and researching how high prog could affect a male I made no hesitation to place an order which was from the link everyone here is referring you to.
I am a very very compulsive person and was also desperate to feel like a man again and I'm happy I took the plunge.

We know a lot more about it now and how it affects us and I'm sure a perfect dosing is out there, but 3 days at low dose 5 to 50mg have had everyone respond quite favorably.

Yup, I used up to 100mg at one point, but using caber or letrozole would help any possible sides and may improve results

Do you think Ella could cause elevated prolactin? Would make sense since it increased my hair loss after finishing the Ella doses.

Hard to say which side effects are due to accutane or a result of other side effects. Only side effect I really care about right now, is sexual sides. I will be monitoring these when taking RU. Do you have sexual sides? Also have you ever had your progesterone tested?
Yeah I have sexual sides. Na I havent gotten it tested, what will it tell us? How much time will it take for that pill to arrive? I am trying to find other ways to get this drug in the meantime

Yeah man and I read that you improved a lot too. Really happy for you ! Hmmm, 5 to 50 mg thats a large variance. We gotta figure out the optimal dose.

No idea how long it will take for pill to arrive. It's just useful to know or see if PAS people with sexual sides have high or low prog or if there is no correlation.

Really really awesome man !!!! Flynn was saying that he ll also do 50 mg.

Now I am not the correct person to answer this, but based on what I ve read -
If possible keep progesterone cream handy if you feel groggy.
IhateFin used Randro after RU and he feels his major improvements came from that.

But since this your first try I think its okay for you to just take this only. Excited to see your improvements man!

Nothing too significant. Had the best sleep and feel less stressed which I feel like has to do with the cortisol RU effects. I made a log so it's all in one place if anything interesting happens.

Important thing here is to just be completely honest about effects. There is no garuantee RU will help PAS. If it doesn't, its a shame but its best that we know. That way we can look for an alternative or try a different dosage etc.
