Just joined a Ball Hockey league.
Starts on Jan 7th and will run every single Sunday, for 14 or so weeks (+playoffs if our team makes it).
I'm an ULTRA, uber, competitive person; perhaps too much so, depending on how you look at it.
I work out often but haven't played on a sports team in YEARS (used to play soccer for years). I think this will be really good for me in more ways than one (physically+mentally).
This is a LONG shot, but any hockey players here? Any advice on exercises and whatnot?
Can't wait to blaze the competition.
I am going to put a special emphasis on training legs, core. SPEED SPEED SPEED.
