Fyi, one sign of zinc deficiency is loose stools or diarrhea ... zinc seems like a magical addition to help keep hormones stable and , another sign of deficiency, is thinning hair... it's so odd, I used to take a test booster (and still try to) and it contains a little zinc as well as copper, magnesium, boron...

It seems zinc shouldn't be overdosed and perhaps EOD dosed... but it's part of PFS support for sure

mate, I have perfectly formed stools while I am on tribulus or if im juicing asparagus. As a snap back I improve a lot and while my improvements persist my stools are more or less okay and formed. Then the day I crash a headache with brainfog appears and I have diarrhoea which happened 3 times on my most extreme crash days. And the libido totally disappears.

Scenes is reporting similar results as too you and very similar protocol.

rad. I'm on day 3 now. Had a wank this morning, felt 95% normal. I'm thinking of taking off the licorice root and boron for a few days, but will keep up with the rest.

I would give the licorice root a break for at least a week so you don't over do it. It should definitely be cycled. I am speaking from experience.

Is anyone doing the copper + zinc + magnesium + taurine yet?

whats the taurine for again

He said 5ar controls bile acid synthesis - taurine helps with that.

It also balances minerals in the cell too hence why taurine is known for its pro cardiovascular and heart effects

What dosage of taurine? For an average 80kg person.
On rpf there was 1 guy who lost all hus personality on taurine which is quite scary.
I use 500mg after shower topically on my hair and i havent found a supplement which makes my scalp as loose as taurine.

Taurine is also known to decalcificate the scalp, a lot of people use it to reverse hair loss, usually up to 3/4g, which is quite a lot.
Never permanently of course

taurine chelates copper and zinc. So if you are low on copper, you will lose your personality

From your posts, it seems we have very similar recovery and crash patterns.
What resulted in partial recoveries in past:
- Tribulus (relieved: ED, brain fog)
- L-Arginine (relieved: ED, brain fog, anxiety, high pitch voice)
- Sorghum(relieved: ED, dry skin, tight scrotum, lower back pain)
- Chiro exercises ( very helpful in ED, lower back pain, reduces scrotum tightness)

Others:
- Vitamin D along with probiotics (general feeling of wellbeing)
- Zinc (helped in energy level but increased lower back pain)
Ashwagandha has also helped me but benefit was not sustainable.

I’m generally doing very well when my digestion is normal but all of a sudden I have loose stools, brain fog followed immediately by crash and in many cases lower back pain/tightness.

Ok man, we are the same, if we find something which prevents us returning to the loose stools crashed state we can recover for sure. Im still waiting for my thorne extra, when I first recovered to 95% in 2015 I was only using multivitamin and nofap.
Pretty sure this thorne will be superior to my cheap multi that i had that time.

When I ate sorghum first time in my life it gave back my cocky and funny humour for some hours. Later when i binged on sorghum it just made me worse.

Mucuna pruriens gave me back my motivation sometimes but it never stuck. My voice was deep, mood was great but it weaned off.

Right now Im 3 days post my last tribulus cycle and stools remained formed but after cycle I did not have that intense snap back concerning mood, maybe i overdosed the trib during the cycle. I am eating lots of green vegetables now, using magnesium spray, eating quite a few nuts and using acids with meals. Lets see if this will keep up the formed stools.

For well formed stool, have you tried taking psyllium husk with yogurt? It always helped me after crash to control diarrhea however I am now planning to add it to tribulus (or any other supplement) cycle.

This diarrhoea is definitely not from the lack of fibre or gut bacteria or candida etc. This is something hormonal and receptor sensitivity switching. Like I had libido in the beforenoon at school, that pre pfs type which just shocks you when you see a sexy woman. Then I get home and I feel the head pressure and brainfog appearing and stools become loose or in worst case diarrhoea.

And yes I tried psyllium husk and yogurt, probiotics etc.
Interestingly tribulus makes my stools formed and so does juiced raw asparagus. I had the same snap back from asparagus too. On propeciahelp it was theorized its a 5ar booster but there are many sources which say asparagus is a herb for women.

My thought process was related to recoveries where healing gut was the mainstream approach since gut microbes influences hormones and neurotransmitters. So, may be adding prebiotic gives us a better result however I do agree that it won’t likely solve the root cause.

day 4. I'm thinking about moving this to my log thread, will copy it there eventually, but it seems pretty relevant to this new stuff!

Zinc magnesium copper boron licorice days 1 and 2, same things but without the licorice days 3-7. Sleep is a bit disturbed but I feel fine overall. Dick feels great. I mean really damn great.

Where does potassium fit in to this?

It was magnesium + potassium + copper and then later zinc + manganese.

Now it seems zinc + magnesium + copper + taurine.
