I'm in, just need confirmation from @gbolduev whether if taking potassium chloride and magnesium chloride when you have low sodium without taking sodium chloride could make you worse?

I have pfs but took 5-htp so need to just clarify the route for me here, as pfs we are told to stay away from nacl, whereas pssd we are told to take nacl.

Hello all, I will be following this protocol as well. I have all the stuff already. Please add me to the trial! I'm the same artemis from the Ray Peat Forum, still looking to undo the damage I did to my metabolism with that whole deal. Thanks!

@TubZy Dont forget what you are taking. you are also taking gelatin, and also you took copper. SO make sure that people are aware of this

Also this protocol is not about amino acids only you need to get and eat foods with folate with vitamin b12 int it. You need to digest foods basically, since people were low on stomach acid for a while. So people need to eat a lot of spinach with meat and puts tons of HCL after those foods.

I'd like to join! PSSD case here.

To confirm, we just need the "Required" ingredients listed in the first post (and perhaps the "Optional" ones too)?

Is there any guidance as to how much we'll be taking each day? I'd like to know how much of each ingredient I need to buy.

Also, if I order today, I will have to wait at least a week to receive the ingredients. Is that okay?

@TubZy

You need to eat food with spinach kale and protein , and then and only then you can add things that you mentioned to it. and then you pour HCL over it , add gelatin to it also

People need to take this with actual FOOD. Not just HCL with whey))

The goal is to digest all the stuff that was not digested. Vitamin b2 zinc , etc

Right, I have said this before many times but I will say it again and also in the private thread once the list is finalized lol.

Yes, the whey I drink is after my meals simply to get more protein in especially if my food meal is smaller in the amount of protein I'm taking in. I also use gelatin too, I just drink it in a cup after meals as well. I either do whey or gelatin, I never take them alone always after food meals that are rich in micronutrients like spinach, broccoli etc.

Just the required is fine

I'm in. Will say I will be doing what I've been following which was the protocol he recommended a couple weeks ago.

I did start zinc a few days ago and seem to be having success. Will this have to be removed?

Currently- mag/potassium/zinc/NAC/selenium/nadh, histidine/serine/l-aspartic/glycine all with plenty of betaine daily like 5g divided through day. Bone broths with egg whites.

I could remove the zinc and proceed. But I'd like to keep the NAC, nadh, and aminos if possible.

Also Eidon mineral electrolytes supplement, some brewers yeast, bee pollen.

@gbolduev what do you think?

@gbolduev @TubZy i’ve stopped zinc.

So mag/potass/selenium for minerals and NAC/ histidine/l-aspartic/serine/glycine/lysine/arginine all with plenty of betaine hcl twice daily. Also Eidon electrolytes twice daily and nadh 10mg in morning.

Doing the rest of prerequisites and a lot of what he wrote up on his thing a couple weeks ago like malic acid, coffee enemas, liver flushes, beet and tomato juices. I fast once a week on just juice or broth or almond milk.

I also have plans for a an RU/prog cycle (unless I see drastic results coming up ahead) for around March 15th. 3 days of RU 25mg with prog 7mg and taper off prog down to 1mg by day 10.

Nac is a no no. It needs to be cysteine (probably in the form cysteine hcl, but definitely not nac).

Why? I know GBOLD likes NAC wSelenium for PFS he said. I really think NAC benefits me as I have some detoxification issues from CFS (mycoplasma/Lyme).

OK, which condition are you?

Well, I'm quite sure I'm the only person here who developed Type 1 Diabetes from eating that way. That's one reason I've been slow to try a new protocol -- this seems mainly for guys with PFS and such. But gboldeuv was nice enough to answer a few questions of mine on the other forum, and I figure I really don't have much to lose. So I'll be following along with you guys. If you don't want to include me in the trial, that's OK, I'll just follow along on my own. I understand that my situation is pretty unusual.
