I'm on month three of using aggressive massage now. I use an occasional salt scrub as well. I'm also following a general protocol of "acidification" - e.g. more fasting/cal restriction (mostly IF), more exercise, greens/evoo/vinegar, less carbs, more sulfur rich proteins (lots of pork and eggs), etc.

I've been bald since 21 (lost it all during a severe bout of depression and weight loss between 18-21), stopped shedding at around 25/26, and am now 31. I used to have naturally thick and curly hair. Recently I've had a large growth in velus-like thin/short hairs, tons of coverage over the entire hairline - in certain lights it looks like I actually have a full head of hair. The problem is that these velus hairs have a short half life and cycle quickly, they never get really long. I have other areas of patchy dark hair (my original hair) that can get long if I let it.

Last night my girlfriend pointed out something - I had a small patch of long (+2") light fine hairs at the crown that I must have missed when trimming on the weekend. They weren't like my original dark hair, and they weren't the velus-like hair either. They were more like the fine long hairs most children have early on. They were clearly new growth.

Excited to keep this going. I don't expect to see any major movement, but I'm hoping to see some significant regrowth by late next year.

You could probably speed up the results by increasing growth with things like biotin, MSM, gelatin etc. They all speed up hair cycle and growth

Honestly I don't like taking any supplements, so I will stick to what I am doing for now - as long as I am making progress I could care less about the rate of it. My life is not being threatened so why rush. The only thing I take is 10mg zinc every other day, and that is just because I never hit the RDA for zinc from food alone. Everything else I almost always exceed RDA values.

Thats a really interesting experiment. Be sure to take some before and after photos of your scalp

It's all or nothing baby. I'm not happy with some small regrowth. I'm only posting pictures if my hair is completely restored, and in that case any old pictures should do.

Are you gonna use the leithicin? What do you think about it?

Maybe if I stop seeing progress, but I have no plans to use it yet. The massage and acidification already take care of decalcification, loosening the scalp, and unclogging hair follicles.

When you say aggressive massaging, what exactly are you referring to?

These videos are pretty much what I do. I have a few other techniques as well, but this is the jist of it. I do it intermittently throughout the day, probably adding up to 20-30 minutes a day. I have been doing this almost every day since August.

Update on using copper (4mg) and Calcium Carbonate (2g) per day.

FYI. I am using other various supplements as well but should have no bearing on hair.

I notice my hair will look better upon waking... I don't need to comb or brush it right away for it to look thick.

I think this is evidence of initial thickening but its way too early to say.

I do appear to be shedding LESS than before.. I can say that almost for sure.

How long can one use copper @ 4mg a day though?

I'm also using copper and calcium, and it has definitely reduced my shedding. For the first few days, I barely noticed any hair fall whatsoever, even in the shower. After those first few days though, hair fall started again, but way less than before starting copper and calcium. So how do we know if we should also supplement zinc and manganese? I take a multivitamin everyday, but there's not much of either in them. I purchased both and I'm afraid to take them because I don't wanna have a bad shed.

My hair fall has greatly reduced, but I don't feel like my hair is getting any thicker. Has anyone here grown thicker hair, or even sprouted new hair growth from following what's on this forum? It seems to be working, but I'd like to know if anyone is getting actual regrowth.

That would take 6 months to a year

Gbold said 2-3 months max on any mineral protocol as you don’t want to overbalance the other way.

After that just eat healthy and possibly supplement a multivitamin.

Just an update for those interested from rp forum. There’s 3 hairloss threads trending currently there and they couldn’t be more different in the proclamations or suggestions:

One is about fixing gut health using raw milk and kefir.

One is about fixing posture.

One is about mineralcorticoids and stopping cortisol in the scalp.

All 3 are being claimed within each thread respectively as the major leading factor in mpb.

Gbold’s mineral imbalances would be a 4th theory we’re running with.

Are we even getting closer lol? Probably the only link between them all is massage, or salt scrub in gbold’s case.

I'm done with Milk... it just made me break out with acne on my face.

Posture... interesting. I've heard that theory before.

Copper is helping me (even though I don't really know why per se) so gonna continue with that for now.

Out of all of them the only one that makes some sort of sense is the mineralcorticoids route which I believe Travis purposed and he explained it to me over PM a while ago, maybe I'll copy and paste it here. The other two theories are retarded IMO, although milk can be inflammatory too.

I mean Travis' and Gbol's are some what similar too, minerals are involved in both and also how the cell handles minerals too (Spiro acts a diuretic for example)

Just search google for spiro and potassium, lots of women have success treating acne with spiro, I suspect due to it normalizing Prog levels via 'correcting' potassium levels.

Guys, do we want to increase potassium or decrease it?

I bought supplemental Potassium citrate... should I take it? :/

I asked gbold about the mineralcorticoid thing and he said anything that plays with mineralcorticoid will affect estrogen and cause other issues.

He immediately mentioned spiro, which Travis sort of ‘discovered’ as he was going through his findings on MR.

Travis thinks it’s no issue, gbold thinks it is...either way, is there any evidence of spiro growing hair in healthy masculine males (not the transgender examples)??

I always have to periodically take time away from all the threads. It starts getting convoluted after a while and you can't follow every single regimen.

Why are you guys not just following the zinc manganese salt lecithin "way" for some time ? (or copper calcium etc for fast)

I dont get it. People always searching for another explanation.

I actually really think thats the right way to restore hair healt.
And I say that because I see regrowth already after almost 1 month.
I got to admit, that my hair grows like a weed.

Who is on the zinc and manganese route too, and hows your success so far?

Zinc manganese actually seems to help my hair. It's too early to tell I think, but it seems to fill in my crown and forehead hairline. What makes me ecstatic though is how it helps my overall health state, mental and all. Really feels like I'm on the right track here. My sex drive has changed, it's no longer all over the place but more focused. Like I'm not constantly thinking about sex anymore but get more horny than before in the right context. I'll try to post some before and after pictures of my hair if this goes the way I think.

How long have you been on it? what dosage exactly?

I was on 10mg manganese/22mg zinc for maybe 1-2 weeks, I def got hornier! I'm not sure if it was helping or hindering hair though. I was paranoid it was shedding more... so now I am on copper only.
