Seeing as the people from ray peat forum deleted all the invaluable threads over there, does anyone still have the
links to the recommended labs for hair analysis? i believe there was a UK based one which would be great as im in europe!

ARL Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis

These are the only two labs we can use for the type of hair test we want, but you cannot order directly from them. Both are situated in the US but they will send you a list of their practitioners, as it is not easy to know what to do from your test results.

As you can see, some companies are in the UK, some in Au... They send you the kit in a simple letter, and you do it all yourself. No refrigeration needed, you can send abroad.

Yes, the labs are not the real labs making the analysis. What you have to check is what lab they use! It has to be one of the 2, ARL or TE

They are Canada based doing inhouse testing(own lab) since 1989.

Do they wash the hair before testing? Personally id just wait and go with trace elements

It looks much the same as TE or ARL, but they do not say anything about washing.... Maybe ask them?

Can I just ask if I'm missing something here regarding the two UK ones:

The Natural Health Choice Ltd - Integrated Healthcare Solutions seems to offer testing of 29 minerals and 8 toxicities for £77.50
1. Hair mineral analysis(15 major minerals and 6 major toxins) with full report and qualified practitioner advice | Hair Mineral Analysis UK (is this the right test? your link goes to a page that has a few of them to select from!) offers less but for over twice as much???
