How to Decrease Sensitivity to Herbs / Protocol

Hi All -

Looking for some advice, as the supplements I have been taking this second time around, both with TEI and @Cdsnuts herbs, seem to be acting quite strange. What I mean by that is that it seems like if I don't cycle the magnesium or bethaine hcl, the calming effects I receive from them are gone within a day or so. Same with the herbs, but what is even weirder about those is that I am rotating in the manner that CD suggest. I feel like my body is just ultrasensitive right now, hell I ate half dozen oysters last week and it crashed me for 2-3 days. How can this be possible? Is there a way to cause the body to get being so sensitive? I am thinking about a 2-3 week juice feast, maybe allow the body to recover. I just don't understand how I could be super androgenic (on the extreme end) one day and then very antiandrogenic on the next. Do you think I should just juice for a bit and let the body chill out?

Shit is so frustrating.

Are you taking TEI supplements, CDs herbs, and other things all together?

So I guess I need to back up a bit. As I am currently on a couple of items recommended by my naturopath that believes in PFS, but not the actual TEI program. I guess his subscription doesn't provide their actual recommendations - shitty, I know.

These worked wonderfully for me for about a week, I could feel the calmness reigning over my body, and was at such a great place. Then, just like that, I wasn't getting a response anymore. I know that I have seen others say similar things, maybe not about the herbs, but about their PFS protocols in general. I received this response from the herbs that I started back in January too, but to be fair I am not currently on the herbs. I am waiting on one more set of labs to come back before hoping back on those. What is confusing is that I seem very androgenic some days, almost to the extreme - where I am sweating profusely, oily skin, hair loss, etc. and within a day its gone - like I said, it's like a pendulum is swinging too far from one side to other and I am trying to fine tune things to get the range much more narrower as the too androgenic symptoms are just as bad as the not androgenic enough. I still can't sleep worth a damn and wonder if a fast is necessary to maybe reboot my system?

I would recommend a fast if you've never done one, yes. However, you can drop all supplements for a week maybe to let your body normalize a bit, then start again and stick to one path.
