Im planning on doing a water fast, and I know that doing it wrong it can be life threatening, so what are the guidelines to do it properly? Should I check some hormones and electrolytes before?

Bumping this, interested to know if we need to supplement electrolytes during a fast. I know during the refeeding period you need to watch your electrolytes but what about during the fast?

I just see the necessity to be sure to not be a fast oxidizer...

But then, we do it to recover, not because everything is fine with us.

I'm considering salted coconut water and breuss in my next fast. 32 oz coconut water and 16 oz breuss for 30 days.

Is that crazy @gbolduev @mattyb ?

I guess you should just have water and thats it.
The point would be to let your body "use" all things at disposal so that once you are done with the fast and you refeed properly, the body can take anything it needs in the right ammount and balance itself?

I think for PFS- breuss, coconut water potassium rich liquid makes sense. We are blocking potassium in the cell with fasting and re-sensitizing it with the absorption of external potassium.
