The symptoms I’ve had and still have are identical to the classic pfs symptoms, but maybe to a lesser degree. I think they work in a similar way

Yes, for sure. Even the hair loss chemical compound RU58841 has caused the same symptoms and it is an antiandrogen as well. And of course saw palmetto too. Doesn't just have to just be fin only.

Doesn't minoxidil help beard and body hair growth? I haven't really looked at it in detail since I'm PSSD but that seems the opposite of what an antiandrogen would do. Forgive me if I'm being dumb lol

Yes, but it is not from an androgenic effect that hair growth increases. When I applied it to my scalp, my facial hair and eyebrows grew thicker and faster. It is from the opening up of potassium channels that actually exerts the hair growth properties, not from pro androgenic properties like DHT/T/androsterone etc.

I see, that's a shame. I actually thought about trying it to fill in a weak area in my beard but I'll stay far away from it now.

I used minox for beard growth lol, It does increase while on it, but I’d say beard growth has been slower and haven’t really developed since I’ve been off it. I’m 23 and my facial hair is very poor

I've used minox 6 months before I took Saw Palmetto and I got the sides from Saw Palmetto right away on the second day! Remember at the last month of minox usage I had several times days with no morning wood. Didn't pay attention at this time... then the last week when I had sexual activities more than one time I had wierd pain in my legs like I am getting flu. I am sure now that Minox led me to this condition and Saw Palmetto fucked me up completely!

I’m sure minox played a part before minox I’d wake up in the morning like an animal, couldn’t get rid of morning wood, rarely have it now.

Min is a killer, I took it 8 years ago and still suffering sides - it gave me premature ejaculation which I has never gotten better - even if I take vigra it still does not help. my sex life has never been the same since. Be great to get some traction on this thread to give this some attention to help understand the cause!

The PE is embarrassing since minox, i haven’t had any action for about a year due to the pe and lack of desire, it’s horrible when people say why haven’t you got a girl, if only they knew

Actually man ppl use it for their beard, it always scares me when I see ppl do that b/c applying to my scalp made my facial skin look shitty, couldn't imagine applying directly to my face for a long period of time lol

Don't worry about it dude, most ppl here have gone through that or are now, do you have mental sides still or just sexual ones? You can start herb cycling for libido and sexual improvements or start one of the protocols, if that still isn't enough you could run low dose cialis for a period of time just until you recover enough, but glad you brought light to minox being an AA, I have seen multiple reports of this in the past but no one took them seriously since they presented no evidence

I remember @gbolduev said that finasteride plays a role in the potasium channel (he said it increases it, if I am not wrong and that is why you can feel even better while on finasteride).
Seems like minoxidil acts on potassium channels as well.
Could we maybe focus our attention on the potassium channels?
we should then try to play on this and try to modify it if ever possible...I guess by electrolities balance.
Am I saying bullshits?

I think the potassium channels is somewhere we should focus, not sure if that is possible? I posted in my other blog that I felt better when I tried minoxidil on Thursday and Friday. I am not touching the stuff now, but I really think the potassium channel is where I need to focus for full recovery. Would this be the electrolyte protocol that would be best served?

I don't really know.
Here we need help from gbolduev, tubzy, mattyb etc.
But since gbolduev has always pushed to get an hair test and follow the ARL instructions, well I guess that could be a way to fix it (potassium channel or not).
