Got 3 preworkout samples, was definitely a bad idea. Tried all of them (3 days in a row) and felt insanely anxious for days + was sweating like crazy. Never again

-I had some pre workout samples. Took one, it was crap just over caffeinated. I said "no more." I forgot (obviously), and did the same thing several weeks later.
-So I through all that stuff. SOME (like 1-20 /100) are good. but I don't need them. --they're all just weak stims except the non stim ones like Citrulline and such.
-I remember all the kids were big on NO Explode. I don't need that false high. It's a low grade high anyways, and stimulates the peripheral nervous system, and thus norepinephrine way too much (the stimulant random pre workouts). -they suck, i concur.

I have noticed that 5 or so days before my period, i get a flare up of symptoms including: light sensitivity, migraines, bloating, irritability, nausea, severe (crash-like) fatigue.

Is this purely hormonal? I looked it up and apparently progesterone levels are highest the few days before your period starts and then estrogen rises again after your period while progesterone drops.

So it seems that the higher my progesterone goes, the worse i feel. Might explain why zinc supps affect me so badly (increase prog, lower estrogen).

Yes i looked up the ingredients and it was just caffeine and ginseng for the stimulating part + some random vitamins (b and c) + a few aminos (theanine and taurine i believe).

Also one serving size (thus 1 sample) was about 200mg caffeine. No shit i almost had a heart attack

Recently i’ve been eating some kind of lean pork which i never really ate before however i have also been feeling pretty tired in the mornings lately. I looked the meat up and apparently it has 2mg copper/200 gram which is what i eat/day. Might play a role in the fatigue idk. The meat is so cheap here though.

Nina, you should really just jump on tei so you know exactly what's going on. I saw this video on YouTube the other day and it reminded me of you. The guy giving the testimonial realized he was using exercise as a stimulant and was just getting worse over time. He finally jumped on nutritional balancing and fixed his fatigue.

Been falling back into some fatigue/lethargy lately. I want to gain some weight but the food makes me even more lethargic. Exercise isn’t really helping either... Its so hard to figure out how to feel your best.

Holy shit ok so i got modafinil (modalert) prescribed by my doctor to see if it helps with the constant lethargic/sleepy feeling. I took it today for the first time ever and had a huge panic attack. I only took 100mg instead of the full dose which is 200mg. I still feel like im having a panic attack and feel really jittery with tunnelvision

Never taking this shit again thats for sure

Also i feel overly awake and alert so im pretty sure my adrenaline is through the roof right now. I pick up on every sound around me its crazy

It's unbelievable how easily doctors will just hand out drugs which clear mess with neurotransmitters. When I went through a brief phase when I was having super bad anxiety, verging on panic feeling, I found watching stuff that you really have to focus on helped a lot at calming me down. Sounds stupid, but I was watching loads of cockpit view airliner landings on youtube!

The half life of modalert is 15 hours, so you might feel rubbish for a while.

Thank you, my doc said it wasn’t a strong drug so i decided to give it a shot.. I’ve been keeping myself busy but the panic feeling is still there. Im so pale i look like a damn ghost and i’ve been rambling like crazy when talking to people

Why doctors are prescribing drugs to people, its their job to prescribe drugs when a person walks in.

Why would someone bother the doctors in first place as they know they are gonna prescribe them a drug, do you go to the woods if you are afraid of bears ?

Only reasonable explanation would be, if someone want to mess around.

If you want some adrenaline rush then go after and see where that bear is been hanging :)

If someone needs more adrenaline goes and do bunjee jumps every weekend, do mtb downhills etc., its not going to bother doctors for no drugs.

It's not though is it, it's their job to analyse what is wrong with the patient, and then take the best action to make them well again. That doesn't have to involve prescribing drugs. I think drugs are prescribed way too often, and many of them have serious side effects (as everyone on this forum knows all too well!.. ).

The pharmaceutical industry has way too much influence over modern medicine, but the reason is because they are the ones funding the studies.

Too bad then it seems. The author who uses often the word patient in their writings is Sigmund Freud and their sentences are a couple of rows long, kind of loosing you what they've talking about in the beginning of the sent when you reach the end.

Why we got to have lots in common with that, why we have to be patients.

If you are a doctor and someone walks into your office and asks for drugs to get fixed you gonna start diverting him from the prescription ?

Why would a doctor do that, instead of go and drive their mercedes benz bought with the bonuses that they got from prescribing the drugs people obviously crave so much.

You use dental services ? When you go there they try to repair whats already been broken, similar to the doctors, they dont do much supporting prevention of the damage since thats not what their job is.

The responsibility is never been in the hands of the doctors nor dentists etc.

its our own personal responsibility to take care of the prevention part of the health, except with the part where an accident with not our fault is involved.

Perfectly straightened a lot of kids teeth when they grew up, with braces.
did a crown perfectly on me, on damaged tooth.
made a 600 dollar mouth guard, better than any store bought thing...
removed 4 wisdom teeth, zero issue.
sure some dentists are morons, but not all of em. same with any profession.
if someone can't tell if they need a professional service... yeah, predatory practice is more likely to occur.
