Hi All -

Was talking to my younger brother who tried rogaine and said he noticed side-effects within 15-30 minutes of the first application. What are your thoughts? I told him that the issues for me really started about 3-4 months after use of both rogaine and propecia together, not immediate, although it wasn't until after adding the rogaine until i started seeing side effects.

He wanted to know what I thought he should do (continue or not)? I really don't want him to go through the same issues that I had and continue to recover from, but at the same time I'm not sure if this is even possible. I mean, 30 minutes after applications? Do you think he should try for a week, I don't know how to advise.

Rogaine is minoxidil, also know as Loniten. it is a pharma blood pressure medication. so yes, side effects will be noticed quickly. It goes systemic and will work like a blood pressure big pharma medication, that just so happens to have been approved for OTC topical application. Some MD's actually don't believe that topicals don't go systemic...sad.

I didn’t feel well on it. I think it messed up my TRT regimen (pre Fin) and gave me anxiety, poor stress response.

I used it for 1 day in 2013 and noticed side effects after the first night. I used it for 90 days or less in 2017 and I'm sure it's bad for skin. I threw it away and my pillows and bed sheets too. Another piece of garbage medication.

I used it for about a year a long time ago, it thickened my hair up, but it blew my face up like a balloon lol...so I dumped it.

used for a year and half. didn't help hair but stayed on it anyways. no sides.
