ZINC FINGER THEORY DISCUSSION for PFS - 2 cases

What do you mean by "mineral vs. natural?" Do you consider amino acids as mineral or a natural?

I took a hit this past weekend- bad sexual crash.. I have a bad cold that has lingered for 2 weeks and spending the whole day Saturday (Patriots football game) in 20F/-5C weather outside seems to have made that worse. I also added cysteine in yesterday which seems to have made matters worse.

I believe I'm going to fast today on just bone broth, juice with no aminos then go back to that original zinc finger with lower dosages (I kept increasing last week, need to calm that down).

I can say with certainty that the original zinc finger was doing things for me last week very significantly. Like aiding herxheimer reaction big time. Basically the neuro symptoms (tinnitus, fatigue, brain fog) I get when dealing with pathogen die off are muchhhh easier to handle with zinc finger. The libido and feelings of normalcy were the best part, but this was a significant added bonus.

bruschi11 just wondering what zinc finger doses you began with initially?

500mg twice a day of serine, l-aspartic acid, histidine hcl with a good chunk of betaine HCL. Bee pollen every other day in my cereal. Eidon Mineral Supplement morning and night- just like 1/4th the dose- kept this low.

I was also taking transfer factor classic and cat's claw to deal with cold. I've been really keen on at least two probiotic enemas a week right now as I'm trying to strengthen my gut as well. Also was messing with NAC w/selenium, acetyl-glutathone, and calcium d-glucarate.

I've decided to take a two day juice and broth cleanse right now to help get over this cold then go back to ZF. I may try to get consistent with the NAC, acetyl glutathione, and calcium d-glucarate, but only after a few days of ZF and watching what that does.

Got a report with my hairitest results today. Guy sounded like he knew his stuff. He mentioned that I am very low in stomach acid that there is something with the pancreas/insuline as it is sky high (mentioned I am very sensitive to carbs and sugar), as well as the thyroid. Adrenals seemed fine, albeit still a bit low. Am very low in certain minerals as well and that I should take a few things first. He mentioned magnesium, but only after a few weeks of supplementing with molybdenum, boron and selenium (also mentioned an adrenal and detox supplement). Phosphor as well, though he rarely suggests that and sounded a bit hesitant.

I really want to wait for this protocol of @gbolduev, but I wonder if I can start supplementing the above or will that intervene with the potential protocol?

I ordered a urine amino test which should arrive shortly. Blood tests reveal low hormones, high insuline, among others.

Anyone willing to help me make some decisions? :)

How long did it take to notice positive benefits on this?

I've been taking 250mg of l-histidine and 250mg l-cysteine daily for 4 days now, so far haven't noticed much but I'll give it a bit longer before adding anything else in (took these individually for a bit beforehand too just to gauge effects)

It took about 5 days to really see large benefits. But I can say the 4th day I definitely noticed something. Days 5 through 7 were the best.

I didn't use cysteine during that time period.

You should post this in the hair test section

Wanted to also add that since I was a teen I had a tendency toward flushing/blushing cheeks and general redness on my face. Not a fin related thing.

Always flush when drinking red wine. When I dabbled with testosterone I was red face all the time. Worst when exercising or alcohol.

Drank heaps over the last weekend, got horny as fk, didn’t flush once. Histidine + copper or the ghk-cu (not sure)...this stuff doing stuff.

What exactly are you taking for GHK-cu? Is it something similar to what I laid out in the GHK thread? You are taking glycine and lysine too?

Glycine 500mg
Lysine 500mg
Histidine 250mg approx (more and I get congested overnight)
Copper 2mg
Magnesium 400mg
Potassium 500mg

Not taking vit c. I don’t think it’s helping me but not saying more until I can confirm.

Scenes I only mean this from the right place.

If you are cured, stop taking stuff. Don’t chance your health any more. Who cares about hair. Get a hair transplant like wuf. But be thankful you have been given another chance and learn not to mess around with things any more.

Yeah.. he's really playing with fire adding in some extra amino acids, what a rebel.

May as well just mainline some h, it would be less dangerous...

What are you talking about, This is a protocol he is taking he is not adding any extra aminos. This is the protocol that I gave him.

Haha, Yes I'm aware of that.

I was being sarcastic towards Steve, because he thinks Scenes should stop and not try any further experimentation since he has 'cured' his pfs..

Hi there,

Is anyone able to give a brief overview of how cortisol insensitivity caused by a lack of/desensitized zinc finger (glucocorticoid receptor) could cause the sexual side effects of PFS? I sort of understand the theory and find it really interesting as there are reasons to believe that accutane may also disrupt glucocorticoid receptor function (zinc finger). But I'm struggling to find a link between this and the sexual side effects.

I would like @gbolduev to clear this up to. From what I assume is that zinc finger is stored all over the body waiting to be used as histamine, and a lack of histamine is related to all our problems.

From the right place I can appreciate your advice but I simply disagree. Health is more than libido and sensitivity. Having those issues gone, as well as the anxiety and general lack of desire for life is amazing, but I want the lot.

I want optimal thyroid and metabolism, healthy skin and hair, digestion, everything. If what I’m taking isn’t hurting me, it’s helping, what’s the deal? Those were the things that made me take fin in the first place I guess.

@Canari
I wouldn’t consider myself even close to fixed from anything if something like occasionally drinking wine messed everything up.

I’m reporting here that for the first time in over a decade, I’m able to drink wine and not have the flushed red face. Winning, not losing. Wasn’t even a goal, just a bonus.

Also not the slightest bit interested in being pedantic about my diet. I eat ok; sometimes great, sometimes not. The minerals/aminos do things regardless of my diet.
