Another Theory for PFS ( Andregenic receptor )

I don’t think either were outside the normal range when I had them tested shortly after crash, maybe on high end By blood work and HTMA are on first page of my log https://hackstasis.com/threads/pfs-since-march-2016-my-hair-results-and-plan-moving-forward.460/

GABA A upregulation after surgeries. And CFS and neurocognitive disorders

“..steroid hormones themselves can alter synaptic GABAergic transmission (Maggio and Segal, 2009). Corticosterone alters the frequency of spontaneous sIPSCs in the hippocampus via actions on MRs (Maggio and Segal, 2009) and increases the amplitude of sIPSCs via actions on GRs (Maggio and Segal...

GABA A upregulation after surgeries. And CFS and neurocognitive disorders

Neurosteroids can potentiate the tonic component of GABAergic inhibition via action on GABAAR δ subunit-containing receptors at low concentrations (Stell et al., 2003), can potentiate the phasic component of GABAergic inhibition at higher concentrations, and at very high concentrations have even...

GABA A upregulation after surgeries. And CFS and neurocognitive disorders

Basically what I got from that was neurosteroids control the expression of different gaba receptor types. The balance of different gaba receptor types is essential to HPA Finasteride = screwed up neurosteroid balance = screwed up Gaba receptor subtypes = broken HPA axis

GABA A upregulation after surgeries. And CFS and neurocognitive disorders

Shit is complex “Consistent with a role of extrasynaptic GABAARs in the regulation of the HPA axis, a significant increase in GABAAR α5 subunit expression and a decrease in GABAAR δ subunit expression have been demonstrated in the PVN following stress” “Neurosteroidogenesis has been...

GABA A upregulation after surgeries. And CFS and neurocognitive disorders

I would think Gaba supplements or benzodiazepines would down regulate gaba Would think alcohol too , but that never helped me. I don’t feel any response to it

GABA A upregulation after surgeries. And CFS and neurocognitive disorders

Would taking cortisol vs running RU be opposites or just different ? Like if you are suggesting cortisol cycle for slow oxidizers , should RU be avoided? Cortisol would suppress vs ru would up regulate after the cycle , am I thinking about it right?

PFS since march 2016 - My hair results and plan moving forward

Definitely not a snap back the progesterone set me back Progesterone Treatment Inhibits and Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) Treatment Potentiates Voltage-Gated Calcium Currents in Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) Neurons Thought this was interesting , about progesterone blocking vs DHT enhancing

Another Theory for PFS ( Andregenic receptor )

I have high progesterone, high RT3, slow oxidation on hair test, zero gaba sensitivity (drinking alcohol has zero effect, sleep is poor), high copper on hair test. I can’t exercise or lift weights since crash Random thought , I was a premature baby , born at 32 weeks, so I always wondered if...

    Clomid/Toremifene

Haha definitely not a clean trail How long have you been on SERM ? And how long on R-Andro? Glad you are getting improvement!

RWAC's PFS log (on the TEI train)

I think you have to heal a little bit to start thinking like this , but this guy is spot on. I don’t think I was an optimist before PFS , I can’t really remember to be honest, but I definitely noticed my optimism now. Which is ironic

PFS since march 2016 - My hair results and plan moving forward

Ah man that’s too bad because most people in that initial what the hell happened to me stage probably end up there first, would be cool to see if the new pfs people could avoid the worst (which is probably the first year). By immediately hoping on CD or TEI. I’m not sure it would work right...

PFS since march 2016 - My hair results and plan moving forward

Went back on CDs herbs and the PCT supplement (kingsblood- mostly just herbs). Slept better last night , crashed feeling is gone. Don’t know if the herbs helped or it just ran it’s course, or if this would be considered a snap back. But Monday night and Tuesday were the worst I’ve felt since...

And why did progesterone crash me? @Helen

PFS since march 2016 - My hair results and plan moving forward

My question If I am classic slow oxidizer (hair and bloods on first page) with HIGH copper on hair test, Why did I feel so good on DHT (like 40% better and even 70% on one day)? I though it was supposed to be that slow oxidizer has too many androgen receptors and then after they come off...

PFS since march 2016 - My hair results and plan moving forward

My recent timeline: PFS crash: -0 to 20% human (for approx. 3 yrs) Snap back after 2 months of mineral balancing: -30% human (felt shit on the minerals) While on R-Andro for 5 to 6 weeks: -40% human Snap back after PCT of CDs herbs/resvertrol (didn’t feel great on PCT but not terrible...

Why we no longer discuss Ella / RU?

I tried Phenibut in my worst stages , helped initiate sleep for a few days, that’s it. No cure. I’m slow oxidizer on hair test , normal test/DHT, high copper on hair I’m interested in cortisol now that Helen is talking about it, a short course of prednisone is so commonly prescribed here in...
