@gbolduev
interesting, so judging by my hair test from last year (unless it changed) you said I was a fast oxidizer... so would taurine be a no-no for me? My hair has only gotten mildly thicker since I crashed but that could be because I'm eating even healthier too...
Can you post your hair test? I'm interested to see what it says.
This may sound silly but have you tried gaining body fat %? If I remember correctly you said you were about 8% (very lean). Say, if you just eat like a truck (protein and fat, sausages, dairy, liver) and gain to around 15% body fat - that might solve the diffuse protein wasting hair loss by itself? It seems like in fast oxidation you burn through your micro and macro nutrients too quickly, so you have none left to create hair (among other important things, i'm assuming).
Interesting.. I am 160lbs now @ 5ft9.
When I was 190lbs (and ate ANYTHING I want included lots of junk garbage food) my hair was thick and had no issues at all.
I was of course younger, lifting very weights (I still workout) but not like before.
ALSO, I was on clomid pills (25mg per day) when I was younger. Could this have good for my hair??? My hair was great when I was on it, once again, and so was libido and everything, once again... I was also younger though.
I wonder if I made a conscious effort to gain bodyfat, if it would help my hair... HMMMMM.
Diffuse protein wasting hair loss can be fixed by using Progesterone, is that right? But not AGA type hair loss? I ask because I was on 100mg of oral progesterone (from natura health) for like 7 months and I've stopped it about 2-3 weeks ago. Instead of using that, I am using 22mg zinc/10mg manganese. Not sure if my hair is getting better or worse though, concerned it's getting worse. HOWEVER.. I am getting hornier than I was on Prog, and my dick has more sensation.
I am so lost I have no idea wtf I am doing anymore in regards to hair loss. I just know I don't want to touch fin/dut. I already made the mistake of using RU58841 (which killed my hairline in 3 months, then I stopped it).
FYI - I feel like my hair loss really KICK-STARTED or even STARTED completely in 2012 when I did a megadose of Vitamin B5 (10grams+ a day for 2-3 months for acne). There are many people who lose hair from using high dose B5, even for yearsssss after. I understand it reduces biotin, but it must also do something else...
Wondering what I should do right now.
I really don't know if my hair loss is AGA or diffuse protein wasting hair loss.
What would the safest solution be?
I am ready to try anything at this point.
All I need to do is KEEP the current hair I have, I am not looking to regrow anything or expecting miracles. I just want to keep what I have.
