This recent study on rat PSSD found low tyrosine hydroxylase, thus reduced dopamine synthesis from tyrosine. Some people have improved on mucuna puriens/L-
DOPA, so there is both theoretical and experimental support for dopamine supplementation.

I plan to try mucuna puriens soon, but the trick will be with dosing. Some studies give patients a constant dose of L-DOPA throughout the day (IE for parkinsons). But you will want to avoid too much dopamine which could downregulate the receptors. It may be interesting to try a time-release L-DOPA tablet to maintain elevated dopamine throughout the day. Presynaptic nerve terminals can store dopamine, so one or a few doses a day may be enough to provide proper levels as well.

I get morning wood after using mucuna.

I have pfs but i really dont know if my last symptoms are from another drug abuse or from pfs.

i think lots mine could be pois and or other drug abuse but the tell tale things like planning suicide, face changes, shrunken testicles, inability to eat literally anything, weight gain, weight loss, fluid gain, prostate pain, unfocused eyes, dim vision, no personality, labotomy feeling stuff.... nearly all that's gone. (take those add 20 more). that shyt was pfs. I've abused drugs it was SAD and scary at times. BUT never made me want to fly out of a window. POIS/PMO obviously isn't good for me or most ppl but never caused shrinkage (also gone or near gone but will take time for 70-100 percent always good sexual health).

Mucuna and all the herbs i used helped in PCT and would if cycled also (for many). definitely. BUT locking in gains is important. setting new baselines and all that.

doing things in a path or routine month after month and day after day, and slowly becoming who you want again.

it s used for Parkinson and it stops there
this is not a dopamine or serotonin problem
its simple testosterone, adrenal and thyroid problems
that's it

Hmm that’s interesting but kinda makes some sense giving that mucuna is more related to prolactin and the others are more so testosterone assisting. So hopefully you don’t have any prolactin issues if you’re not responding to mucuna

Hey @BeLikeWater , you mean Trump_1776 was in that group??

I'll say, additionally, I've found that NowFoods products absolutely suck so perhaps another mucuna could be different for him (if he was using that brand but it's also always good to rule out another brand too, in the case of experimenting with what can help us) ... but I was saying, in reference to his post, mucuna helps prolactin which he stated he didn't respond to but the others he listed that he did respond to weren't for prolactin... know what I'm saying?

Like say I say Tribulus doesn't help but tonkat & maca do... those are within the same realm of what they're working on, testosterone...

And, in the case of severe issue like what we have, I don't expect much from OTC... so if you want to get to the root of prolactin, use Pramixpexole or cabergoline, if you want to drop it... Prami being my suggestion
